Divorce occurs due to many reasons among which the dispute between the couple over the issue of child rearing is a major one. The rate of divorce is increasing at an alarming rate all over the world specially in the western countries. In many cases the couples cannot agree on the point of upbringing of a child since each of the two has a different view. Sometimes any of the spouse is accused of showing negligence to the child or abusing the child physically or mentally. This can lead to a serious issue for divorce. However, the comperatively simple issues like, sending the child to the choicest school or dealing with the child in an inapproprite manner can also bring a breakdown to the marriage. The couple may become unable to come to terms about whether to have a child or not. Even issues can also occur regarding the upbringing of the child. If such disputes are not handled carefully marriages can come to an end.
